COMMUNITY GIVING BACK PROGRAM
I have often heard people say that there are no selfless acts, even when helping others. Well, I would rather be labeled 'selfish' for indulging myself in feeling great because I choose to serve others instead of serving myself. Compass Consulting and Training Solutions, LLC believes in giving back to our community. We specifically support programs that provide services, resources and programs to low income families, women and/or girls. We are also avid supporters of performing and creative arts programs. Through Our Community Giving Back Program, nonprofit organizations may request trainings/workshops, program or curriculum consultations (maximum 2 hours) or schedule a 60 minute one on one business consultation session. All services are provided FREE OF CHARGE! Organizations must submit requests 90 days in advance. Decisions are made on a quarterly basis. Organizations may submit a request for subsequent sessions if their request is not approved in any give session. Organizations will only receive one pro bono service per fiscal year. Our Giving Back Program recipients have included: Art Adopts A Child, Bringing On New Direction, Inc., Engage Baltimore, Scholars K-8 PTA, KidsPeace, St. Vincent Youth Steel Orchestra, Jericho House of Praise, Under the Palabre Tree, Inc., Newsome Awards Kids Edition, Joseph and Vera Douglas Family Foundation, Inc and Langston Hughes Elementary School. We know that there are many worthy organizations that do amazing work in our communities and we would be honored to serve them all. Unfortunately, we are not able to honor every service request. Requests are reviewed on a first come, first served basis. Recipients will be notified within 4 weeks of submitting a request.
