Dear Sisterpreneur!
Welcome! I am so glad we found each other!!! I know you probably have a long list of goals that you want to accomplish in your business this year. Or, you may be so overwhelmed with your losses from the previous year that you do not even know where to start for the new year. I know how you feel. Since I started my business, there have been quite a few January's where I feel ready to conquer the new year and then there have been January's where I want to hide under my bed and wait out the next 364 days. My struggle with anxiety and depression did not help, but over the years, I have steadily developed a practice that helped me focus my thoughts and prepare my mind for the start of a new year regardless of how I ended the previous year. I take a deep breath and by ask myself three questions: 1.) Am I ready to put my hand to the plow and put the necessary work into preparing my soil (business) so I can reap a future harvest from the seeds (work/investment) I have put into my business? 2.) What is one thing I can do today (whatever day it is) to begin moving my business forward? 3.) Who can I ask to help me with the goals I cannot do alone? I am bold enough to say the answer to all three questions can be found by joining the Small Business Institute(SBI)! What is the Small Business Institute? The Small Business Institute, otherwise known as SBI, offers new and aspiring small business owners and nonprofit founders the opportunity to participate in online webinars, group coaching sessions and power planning work sessions that will equip them with the skills and strategies needed to start, maintain and grow a successful business.
